Colorado's Anti-Protective Orders Legislation SB-153 Died in Senate Judiciary Committee

LCJ worked with local coalition members in Colorado to successfully defeat the anti-protective orders bill SB-153 from passing. This bill would have been particularly detrimental to Colorado, a state that has been losing manufacturing jobs for decades, because it would allow a judge to declare a product a source of injury before a jury even has a chance to consider the matter. As such, LCJ has joined with other business organizations in signing a coalition letter, written by the Colorado Civil Justice League that opposes SB-153. SB-153 was died in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
