New Jersey Defense Association comment to Supreme Court

The New Jersey Supreme Court is considering an amendment bringing the state’s expert evidence admissibility standard into line with the federal rule, following a 16-7 decision by a divided state Rules of Evidence Committee to reject the rule change. The New Jersey Defense Association filed its newest “comment” on April 17th, asking the Supreme Court to adopt the amended rule and requesting the opportunity to participate it in a Court hearing on May 18th. The new comment is available here.
