Federal Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules meeting

The Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules will meet on April 15, 2026, in Charlotte, NC.  Please let the Rules Secretary (RulesCommittee_Secretary@ao.uscourts.gov) know if you wish to observe this meeting in person or remotely through Microsoft Teams.  To observe the meeting in person, individuals must contact the Rules Secretary office by 5 p.m. (eastern time) on April 8, 2026. After this deadline, only remote observation is permitted. Remote registration is available until the meeting date, provided it is completed before the projected end time. 

Meeting Date & TimeApril 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET) (approximate timing).

Meeting Location:  Jury Assembly Room, Ground Level, United States District Court Western District of North Carolina (401 West Trade Street).  After a security scan at the main entrance, you will need to sign in with a government issued ID or passport with the court security. 

Food & Beverage:  Procurement regulations prohibit us from including observers in the meals provided for committee members.  We appreciate your understanding. 

Special Needs:  Please notify us if you need special accommodation.  We are committed to upholding and providing a professional atmosphere that is ADA compliant.
