LCJ spring meeting
Get ready to be dazzled in DC! LCJ’s Spring Membership Meeting is set for Washington DC from May 3rd-5th. The meeting brings together leading corporate and law firm leaders to discuss the most important issues in civil litigation. Be inspired by leading thinkers in law and politics while making and renewing friendships with your LCJ colleagues.
Program Co-Chairs Barry Boise (Troutman Pepper) and Beth Chiarello (Sidley Austin) are leading development of a stellar roster of leading thinkers and decision makers to discuss cutting-edge legal topics and civil litigation rule developments.
Among the confirmed speakers are Paul Grimm, the David F. Levi Professor of the Practice of Law and Director of the Bolch Judicial Institute at Duke Law School, speaking on the courts and public trust, and leading policy thinker Bruce Mehlman, who will share insights into the disequilibrium and disruptions shaping policy and law. Bruce is widely respected for his thought leadership, grounded in over two decades experience in public policy, business and the law. The meeting will also feature several panels of experts who will explore current legal and future legal issues as well as pending procedural reform proposals.
In addition to LCJ’s unique programming, prepare to make new friends and renew old acquaintances while enjoying stunning views of the U.S. Capitol at the welcome reception hosted by LCJ member Nelson Mullins on Wednesday, May 3rd. On Thursday, May 4, LCJ’s inspiring and memorable annual reception and dinner is set for the luxurious St. Regis Hotel. Thursday’s event is designed to stimulate conversation, indulge your taste buds, and quench your thirst as we raise our glasses to toast current and incoming leaders and celebrate award winners.
