LCJ Proposal to the Georgia Business Court to Improve Efficiency Through Discovery Expense Sharing

To create greater efficiency, cost reduction, consistency, and improved confidence in the Georgia Business Court, LCJ proposes a self-executing rule establishing cost sharing at the outset of a case. An incentive similar to a “co-pay” will reduce motion practice over the scope of discovery, the costs of litigation, and the time to resolution. The proposal is aligned with the objectives of the Georgia Business Court. Click here to read the proposal.
